Baptise Bowl in the oven
2017After melting the straight piece of glass, the glass is melted into the form, in the oven.
Sandcasting
2009Fluid, glowing glass is being poured into a sandmold with great precision...
Casting in oven
2010Sculptures trapped in their molds are put in the oven in order to 'cast' them on 840 degrees Celcius. A couple of days patience is reguired before we can see if they worked out fine...!
Churchwindow in applique
2010A 3 meter high window made for a church in Leiden called 'The Rainbow'. Several fused parts are applied to a window of float glass with the applique technique (gluewing). A sparkling mosaic is born!
